Livermore's Own Wine Blog

The night was chilly, the mood was Christmas-ey, and everyone was in good cheer.  Our daughter was floating down First Street in a glittery array of twinkle lights and candy canes.  Was this a dream?  No. It was the annual Livermore Christmas Parade.  The Livermore Parade has been a tradition for many years.  This is a classic, old towne, all American, traditonal old-school type of parade. The kind one might see in a movie or dream of as they sail through a sea of big city chaos.   Unfortunately, for one reason or another, we have not been able to attend this wonderful event as often as I would have enjoyed even though it was technically and almost literally in my own backyard.   Nevertheless, December of 2010 found us all in great spirits and merriment.  It was this very evening that the thought occurred to us that it would be an excellent idea to have a Bryersantis Wine Float.  Of course, at this point, it was only a dream…..The dream has come into fruition now and after a years worth of carefree chatter, serious banter and some crazy amount of sweat and labor this dream has become a reality.  Tomorrow night our float will sail.  Some of our favorite Livermore locales have been so generous as to sponser this float.  It is an honour to say that 1st Street Wine Company, Livermore’s Pourhouse, Swirl Winebar, Ken’s Wood Fired Pizza, Longevity, Cuda Ridge, Picazzo, El Sol, Crooked Vine/Stony Ridge, and Nottingham Cellars also agreed to give us a hand with this vision and we are thrilled to celebrate this moment with them!  As always, the main mantra of Bryersantis is to celebrate and promote the wineries of the Livermore Valley, so we toast to all of those that live, breathe, sweat, and dream of making the Livermore Valley the best wine country location.  Please come out and toast with us as the Bryersantis family parades itself down First Street, Saturday night, 12/3 at 6pm.  Now, Merry Chirstmas to all and to all a good night!!!
