Head straight to Wente Vineyards – 5050 Arroyo Road Livermore. Wente is the country’s oldest, continuously family owned and operated winery.  This beautiful winery was founded over 125 years ago.

Thomas Coyne Winery – 51 E. Vallecitos Road, Livermore.

This charming old historic winery with beautiful views of Livermore Valley was once called “Chateau Bellevue.”  I was built in 1881 by a French engineer.  It is now owned and operated by Thomas Coyne who started producing his own wines in 1989 and reopened this winery in 1994.

Concannon Vineyard – 4590 Tesla Road, Livermore.

James Concannon, one of the founding fathers of California wines, began making wine in the Livermore Valley in 1883.  His cabernet sauvignon clones helped plant much of Napa in the 1970’s.

Tastings daily 11am – 4:30pm.

NOW OPEN:  The Underdog Winebar at Concannon. A beautiful place to sit and relax indoors or out on a nice day and have a bite to eat and enjoy the wine of course!

Murietta’s Well – 3005 Mines Road, Livermore.

Originally built in the 1880’s this beautifully restored old stone winery opened it’s doors to visitors for the first time in 1991.
